Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2010-01058 SouthEast Connector, NV - 8/23/2013: The comment period for this Public Notice has been extended. Comment end date is now October 15, 2013 Lee Gibson, Executive Director, Regional Transportation Commission, has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 11.23 acres of waters of the United States to construct a 4.5 mile 6 lane road. This project is located in Steamboat Creek and adjacent wetlands, Section 14, Township 19 North, Range 20 East, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada.

SPK-2007-00300, RGP 7 Issued - 8/8/2013: The District Engineer-Sacramento has issued the Regional General Permit #7 (RGP 7) for a period of 5 years. The RGP 7 applies to all activities associated with the Clark County (Nevada) Regional Flood Control District (CCRFCD) Master Plan. This RGP is applicable to waters of the United States limited to jurisdictional streams, drainage ditches, channels and wetlands within the boundaries of Clark County, Nevada. 12501-SPD - 8/8/2013: The South Pacific Division has published a notice of updated procedures (12501-SPD, Standard Operating Procedure for Determination of Mitigation Ratios) to be followed in South Pacific Division’s subordinate districts (Albuquerque, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles districts) regarding determination of compensatory mitigation ratios as required for processing of Department of the Army (DA) permits under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, and Section 103 of the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act.

SPK-2007-02181, Proposed Antonio Mountain Ranch Conservation and Mitigation Bank, Placer County, CA - 8/7/2013: Lewis Antonio Mountain Ranch LLC is proposing to establish the Antonio Mountain Ranch Conservation and Mitigation Bank, which would result in the preservation, establishment, restoration or enhancement of approximately 116 acres of aquatic habitats. The 798-acre site is located on Orchard Creek in Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32, Township 12 North, Range 6 East, MDB&M, Latitude 38.84793°, Longitude -121.33804°, Placer County, California, and can be seen on the CA-Roseville USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2007-02240, Lower Las Vegas Wash, Clark County, Nevada - 8/1/2013: Central Federal Lands Highway Division, Edward Martinez has applied for a permit to place dredged/fill material and work in approximately 4.0 acres of waters of the United States to construct a fourth grade control structure (sloping riprap structure bounded by sheet pile cutoff walls) in the Las Vegas Wash below the Northshore Road bridge. This project is located on the Lower Las Vegas Wash, in Section 13, Township 21 South, Range 63 East, within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Clark County, Nevada.
