The submission and completion of the Inquiry or Concern Related to Levee Construction Work Form (Form) is for investigation purposes only and does not trigger administrative review and/or timelines.

Neither the Form nor its contents shall be construed as an admission of liability or responsibility of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the State of California, Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) and/or the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA) for the concern or damage(s) alleged therein, nor shall the receipt of the Form be construed that an inspection will be performed.

Parties submitting a Form are informed USACE is unable to offer legal advice or counsel regarding the matters raised therein, and records USACE receives are subject to release under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) unless an applicable exemption applies.

The investigation process timeline, including the frequency of updates, can vary, and an investigation, if warranted, may not begin until construction of the phase of the Project to which a Form relates is fully completed.
