Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps) is evaluating a proposal by the Colorado River Cattle Ranch, LLC to establish the Colorado River Conservation Reserve Wetland Mitigation Bank (CRCR). The 1,014-acre site is located along two miles of the north bank of the Colorado River, immediately west of the Town of Kremmling, within Township 1 North, Range 80 West, Sections 7, 18, and 19 and Range 81 West, Sections 11, 12, 13, 14, 23, and 24, in western Grand County, Colorado, at Latitude 40.05217° North, Longitude -106.41774° West (NAD 83), Sixth Principal Meridian.

    On June 13, 2012, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps) completed a Record of Decision (ROD) for the Rio del Oro Project in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. The ROD follows the issuance of a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) in July 2010. The EIS was prepared by the Corps to analyze the direct, indirect and cumulative effects associated with a mixed-use development project in the City of Rancho Cordova, California.

    Spanish Fork City, Chris Thompson, has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 2.11-acres of waters of the United States to improve the City’s drinking water collection system at its source, Cold Spring. The project is located adjacent U.S. Highway 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon, approximately 8 miles east of Spanish Fork City, on the northeast side of the highway, in Section 12, Township 9 South, Range 3 East, Salt Lake Meridian, Latitude 40.049°, Longitude -111.547°, Spanish Fork, Utah County, Utah.

    Terry Johnson, Utah Department of Transportation, has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 0.674-acre of waters of the United States to improve and widen U.S. Highway 6 between mileposts 201 to 203. This project is located in Section 36, Township 12 South, Range 9 East, Carbon County, Utah.
