Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK-2003-00397 - RGP 2

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) has issued Regional General Permit (RGP) 2 which authorizes certain discharged of dredged and fill material under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, associated with routine channel maintenance activities for projects conducted within and by the City of Elk Grove. This RGP authorizes the discharge a total of approximately 2,700 cubic yards of riprap, soil, gravel and aggregate base into approximately 0.40 acre of waters of the U.S. for routine channel maintenance projects over a 5 year period.

  • RGP 37 Proposal

    Expiration date: 9/21/2012

    The US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento and Albuquerque Districts (Corps) is proposing to issue Regional General Permit No. 37 for Stream Stabilization Projects in the Sacramento and Albuquerque District Areas of Colorado. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed RGP and solicit comments by September 21, 2012.

    Expiration date: 9/7/2012

    The Nevada Department of Transportation has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 4.02 acres of waters of the United States to construct a new interchange. This project is located on Duck Creek, in Section 32, Township 22 South, Range 61 East, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. Written comments and/or a request for a paper copy of the notice may be submitted to project manager Patricia McQueary at 196 East Tabernacle Street, Room 30, St. George, Utah 84770, email Patricia.L.McQueary@usace.army.mil, or telephone 435-986-3979. Comments must be received by September 7, 2012.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) has posted the final actions that were taken by the Sacramento District during the period 01 July through 31 July 2012 at the final actions portion of our permitting page http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/Permitting.aspx . Relevant Environmental Documents, Statement of Findings and Record of Decisions are available upon written request pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act.

  • Final Map and Drawing Standards for the South Pacific Division Regulatory Program

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, announces the availability of final South Pacific Division standards and guidelines for maps and drawings submitted as part of delineations and applications for U.S. Army Corps permits and jurisdictional determinations. The intent of these standards is to improve the quality and consistency of maps and drawings and simplify and improve review and processing by Corps Regulatory project managers.
