Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento and Albuquerque Districts, hereby announces the issuance of Regional General Permit No. 37 for Stream Stabilization Projects in the Sacramento and Albuquerque District Areas of Colorado. The purpose of this public notice is to inform interested parties of the availability of the RGP.

    This Public Notice announces the preliminary intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps) to accept funds contributed by the Port of Stockton, subject to a series of limitations below: Section 214 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (WRDA 2000, Public Law No. 106-541 111-120) as amended, provides: (a) The Secretary of the Army, after public notice, may accept and expend funds contributed by non-Federal public entities to expedite the evaluation of permits under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Army. (b) In carrying out this section, the Secretary shall ensure that the use of funds accepted under subsection (a) will not impact impartial decision making with respect to permits, either substantively or procedurally. (c) The authority provided under this section shall be in effect from October 1, 2000 to December 31, 2016.

This project is located along a 14.5-mile reach of Cache Creek, in Yolo County, California.
