Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Philicia Lund has applied for a permit to work in approximately 0.09 acre of waters of the United States to construct the Lund Private Dock project. This project is located on the Sacramento River, in Section 33, Township 5 North, Range 4 East, Walnut Grove, Sacramento County, California.

    Expiration date: 7/29/2013

    Joseph Gallo Farms, has proposed to establish the 397.5-acre Yosemite Lake Mitigation Bank, preserving approximately 48.3 acres of waters, 297.1 acres of grasslands, re-habilitating approximately 11.1 acres of waters, and re-establishing approximately 31.00 acres of waters and 5 acres of riparian habitat. This project is located along the western shore of Yosemite Lake, in Sections 27 and 28, Township 6 South, Range 14 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, Latitude 37.38444°, Longitude -120.43830°, Merced County, California.

    Colorado State Parks, Mike Havens has applied for a permit to place dredged material in approximately 2.0 acres of waters of the United States to restore intended design functions of the outlet structure, enable maintenance and repair activities, restore recreational use and boat access and improve disabled user access. This project is located on Highline Lake Reservoir, within Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 3 West, Mesa County, Colorado.

  • SPK-2006-01050 - FEIS/Draft RGP

    Expiration date: 7/8/2013

    The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Sierra Vista Specific Plan is available for review and comment. This 1,6120acre project proposes to fill waters of the United States under Section 404 of the Federal Clean Water Act. A notice of availability will be posted in the Federal Register on June 7, 2013. This project is located on Curry Creek, Sections 26, 27, and 34-36, T11N, R5 E, MDB&M, Roseville, Placer County, California.

  • SPK-2005-00938 - DEIS

    Expiration date: 7/15/2013

    The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the 397-acre Westbrook subdivision project is available for review and comment. This project proposes to fill 9.61 acres of waters of the U.S. A notice of availability will be posted in the Federal Register on May 31, 2013. The DEIS may be viewed at the Sacramento District website at http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/Permitting/EnvironmentalImpactStatements.aspx This notice was change to reflect the new meeting times. The Corps will hold a public meeting for this project on June 25, 2013, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the City of Roseville’s Civic Center Meeting Rooms, 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, California 95678.
