Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Expiration date: 9/23/2013

    The comment period for this Public Notice has been extended. Comment end date is now September 23, 2013. The Port of Stockton (Port) has applied for a permit to conduct maintenance dredging in approximately 12.75 acres of waters of the United States to facilitate access of deep-draft commercial vessel traffic to Docks 16 through 20 of the Port’s West Complex. This project is located along the northern shoreline of the Port’s West Complex, in Section 21, Township 2 North, Range 6 East, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.

    Great Salt Lake Minerals Corporation has submitted an amended permit application to construct the Great Salt Lake Minerals Solar Evaporation Ponds Expansion Project, which has been reduced in scope from 80,000 acres to a proposed 37,497 acres of waters of the United States, including wetlands, in or adjacent to the Great Salt Lake in Box Elder County, Utah.

    The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (District) has applied for reissuance of Regional General Permit 7 (RGP 7) to place dredged/fill material in waters of the United States to construct/maintain flood control facilities funded /built in accordance with the District’s Flood Control Program Master Plan in Clark County, Nevada. By this Notice, the District Engineer is advertising his intent to reissue a revised and modified RGP 7.
