Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Greenbriar Project Owner, LP., has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and into approximately 14.4 acres of waters of the United States, including permanent impacts to 10.86 acres on-site and 0.045 acre off-site, and temporary impacts to 3.07 acres on-site and 0.11 acres off-site for the construction of a mixed-use development. This project is located north of Interstate-5, west of U.S. Highway 99, east of Lone Tree Road and south of West Elkhorn Boulevard, in Section 4, Township 9 North, Range 4 East, Latitude 38.67826º North, Range 121.54908º West, in the City of Sacramento, Sacramento County, California.

    On February 28, 2013, a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was published in the Federal Register (Vol. 78, No. 40, 13643), which can be found at: https://federalregister.gov/a/2013-04722 This notice is to inform interested parties of the opening of the scoping period and to solicit comments on the proposed Delta Wetlands project. Comments received will be used in the preparation of the SEIS. A public scoping meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Tsakopoulos Galleria Library located at 828 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
