• Corps begins American River levee project in Sacramento

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District has begun reinforcing and raising more than 4,000 feet of levee along the American River in Sacramento. The Howe Avenue Levee Raise project officially began July 25, and is now in full swing.

  • Success Lake begins Rocky Hill Recreation Area night closures

    Success Lake’s Rocky Hill Recreation Area will be closed to all visitors from sunset to sunrise, effective June 15. Visitors who are boating at closing time will be asked to trailer their vessels and depart as quickly as possible after coming off the water.
