Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2009-00104, Seven Bridges project, Shasta County, CA - 5/19/2017: RG Development Giddings has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and work in approximately 0.94 acre of waters of the United States to construct a 127 single family subdivision. The approximately 44.04-acre project site is located near Stillwater Creek, Section 8, Township 32 North, Range 4 West, Mount Diablo Merdian, Latitude 40.64841°, Longitude -122.34359°, Redding, Shasta County, California, and can be seen on the CA-PROJECT CITY USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

The approximately 298-acre project site is located in the Rio Linda/Elverta community within the unincorporated portion of Sacramento County, north of Elverta Road and directly south of the Placer/Sacramento County line, east of 16th Street, west of Gibson Ranch County Park within the Elverta Specific Plan, and can be located within portions of Sections 10, 11, 14, and 15 of Township 10 North, Range 5 East on the USGS Rio Linda, California 7.5-minute quadrangle (Latitude 38.72668°, Longitude -121.41858)

SPK-2014-00496 - US-40 Widening, Duchesne, UT - 5/5/2017: The Utah Department of Transportation has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 3.74 acres of waters of the United States to construct to widen a 6.3 mile section of United States Route 40. The approximately 6.3 mile project site is located along US-40 from Milepost 97.2 to Milepost 103.5, Latitude 40.23303°, Longitude -110.06068°, between Bridgeland and Myton City, Duchesne County, Utah., and can be seen on the UT-MYTON USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
