Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK-1997-00732 -- Issuance of Regional General Permit 3

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) has issued Regional General Permit (RGP) #3, for small, private, recreational boat docks and associated access within certain navigable waters of the U.S. The purpose of RGP 3 is to implement an expedited permit application and review process for the installation of small, private, recreational boat docks and associated access that require a Department of the Army (DA) Permit prior to construction in navigable waters of the United States (U.S.).

    Vacaville Land Investors, LLC, Steve Hicks has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 2.2 acres of waters of the United States to construct a residential housing development. This project is located near Noonan Drain, in Section 35, Township 6 North, Range 1 West, Vacaville, Solano County, California.

    Expiration date: 10/6/2014

    The City of Steamboat Springs has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 0.080 acre of waters of the United States to enhance whitewater recreation within a section of the Yampa River. The project area is located within approximately 1,350 feet of the Yampa River, between 9th and 12th Streets, in the City of Steamboat Springs, within Sections 8 and 17, Township 6 North, Range 84 West, Sixth Principal Meridian, Latitude 40.4872°, -106.8391°, Routt County, Colorado.

  • SPK-2014-00703 Yuba County, CA

    Expiration date: 9/6/2014

    Yuba County Water Agency has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material into Our House Diversion Dam Reservoir (Middle Yuba River) and Log Cabin Diversion Dam Reservoir (Oregon Creek) by sluicing or mechanically removing sediment in the reservoirs to allow for proper bypass flows to occur downstream. The project may impact up to 7.55 acres of waters of the United States. The project proposes to sluice a maximum of 150,000 cu yds for Our House Reservoir and a maximum of 30,000 cu yds for Log Cabin Reservoir. Log Cabin Dam is located in Sec 11, T18N, R8E, MDB&M, Yuba County, California. Our House Dam is located in Sec 20, T18N, R9E, MDB&M, Sierra & Nevada Counties, California.
