Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2009-01482, Permit Phase 2 of the California High-Speed Rail, Fresno to Bakersfield Section, CA - 11/1/2018: The California High-Speed Rail Authority has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 15 acres of waters of the United States to construct Permit Phase 2 of the California High-Speed Rail Project, Fresno to Bakersfield section. The proposed 23.13-mile alignment is located between Poplar Avenue north of the City of Shafter, and Oswell Street in the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, California. This public notice is to notify the public of the request for phased authorization and to provide additional time to review and comment on the project.

SPK-2007-00300, Notice of Intent to Re-issue Regional General Permit #7, Clark County, NV - 10/31/2018: The Corps is proposing to revise and re-issue Regional General Permit 7 for Construction and Maintenance of Flood Control Facilities under the Clark County Regional Flood Control District (CCRFCD) Master Plan. The proposed RGP would authorize permanent and temporary discharges of dredged or fill material into waters of the U.S., including wetlands, needed to construct or maintain flood control facilities funded by or constructed in accordance with the CCRFCD program within Clark County, Nevada.

SPK-2018-00610, construct the Utah Lakeshore Trail: Hotpots and Amanda Lane project, Saratoga Springs, Utah County, UT - 10/30/2018: The City of Saratoga Springs has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 2.93 acres of waters of the United States to construct a public trail. The approximately 40.84-acre project site is located along the northwest shore of Utah Lake between 400 South and 2200 South, Latitude 40.3356°, Longitude -111.901°, Saratoga Springs, Utah County, Utah, and can be seen on the Saratoga Springs USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-1992-00584, expand the Hay Road Landfill (Landfill) project, City of Vacaville, Solano County, CA - 10/29/2018: Recology Hay Road (Applicant) has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 5.05 acres of waters of the United States, in order to expand the current Landfill to meet the solid and organic waste processing demands in the Solano County region. The approximately 640-acre project site is located at 6426 Hay Road, Latitude 38.310168°, Longitude -121.848851°, in the City of Vacaville, Solano County, California, and can be viewed on the Dozier USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
