  • USACE Sacramento district regulatory offices re-open

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulatory offices across California, Utah, Nevada and Colorado are re-opening today as the federal government resumes normal operations.
  • Army Corps awards $18.5 million for work at Presidio of Monterey

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded an $18.5 million contract Sept. 30 to Halbert Construction Company Inc. of El Cajon for construction of a new dining facility and supporting facilities at the Presidio of Monterey.
  • Corps maintains higher water storage capacity at Success Dam

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District announced June 10 it will maintain the operating restriction at Success Dam implemented in 2012. The restriction allows water storage up to 65,000 acre-feet or approximately 75 percent of the maximum capacity of the reservoir behind Success Dam. Ultimately, this could mean more water for local users during high-water months.
