Corps offers tips on avoiding and treating swimmer’s itch

Warning signs are being posted at New Hogan Lake with a seasonal recurrence of swimmer’s itch reported by two visitors to the lake today. Visitors are cautioned to avoid swimming where warning signs are posted, and to heed guidance from the Centers for Disease Control to towel dry and shower immediately after swimming, and avoid feeding birds at the lake. Recreation survey at Isabella Lake to begin Memorial Day weekend
