Army Corps awards $56.3 million for barracks complex at Presidio of Monterey

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $56.3 million design-build contract June 30 to Sundt Construction, Inc. of Tempe, Arizona for a barracks complex at the Presidio of Monterey. The complex will be used primarily to house service members attending the POM's defense language institute in sustainable, modern living spaces comparable to living standards in the private sector.
