Corps to host Career Fair for U.S. Veterans on April 6

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host a Veterans Career Fair on April 6 in an effort to fill more than 200 job openings.

Hiring representatives will be on hand from numerous private, state and federal government agencies including: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, California Department of Rehabilitation, California Employment Development Department, California Department of Veterans Affairs, Work for Warriors and Wounded Warrior Project.

The job fair will be held at the Hyatt Regency, located at 1209 L Street, Sacramento, California, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is open to all U.S. Veterans, and attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and proof of prior military service (DD form 214). Dress is business casual.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District provides planning, engineering, project management, environmental restoration and construction services to military and civilian customers in parts of eight western states, including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon and Wyoming.
