Corps extends comment period for Martis Creek Lake master plan update

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District has extended the public comment period for the draft Martis Creek master plan update and accompanying environmental assessment by two weeks, meaning comments can now be submitted for consideration until Jan. 3, 2015.

Corps to temporarily reduce water level at Lake Clementine for dam inspection

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will conduct a dam safety inspection of the downstream side of the North Fork Dam near Auburn Oct. 31 - Nov. 5, and will temporarily reduce water levels at Lake Clementine to safely perform the inspection.

Corps parks free on Veterans Day for those who serve
