Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK-2019-00005-Announcement of the Stream Quantification Tool (Beta Version) for use in Western Colorado

    The purpose of this notice is to advise the general public of the availability of the Colorado Stream Quantification Tool (CSQT). Effective immediately, the CSQT is available for use in the Sacramento District Colorado West Section when evaluating and assessing stream impacts and compensatory mitigation in conjunction with the application for a Department of the Army permit under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.

    Utah Department of Transportation has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately impacts to approximately 18.52 acres and 3,689.6 linear feet of waters of the United States to widen State Road 30. The approximately 6.7 mile long or 745 acre project area is located along the existing alignment of SR-30 from 1000 West in Logan City to SR-23: western end Latitude 41.75075°, Longitude -111.97942°; eastern end 41.73567, -111.85981, Cache County, Utah.

    Utah State Parks and Recreation have applied for a permit to work in approximately 391 acres of waters of the United States to mechanically maintain three separate beaches. The proposed project areas are located at three different sites on the eastern and southern shoreline of Bear Lake: Rendezvous Beach -111.34204°, 41.84787°; Rainbow Cove -111.27137°, 41.97377°; and North Eden Beach -111.26450°, 42.00631°, Rich County, Utah, and can be seen on the Laketown USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
