Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The Corps is proposing to revise and re-issue Regional General Permit 7 for Construction and Maintenance of Flood Control Facilities under the Clark County Regional Flood Control District (CCRFCD) Master Plan. The proposed RGP would authorize permanent and temporary discharges of dredged or fill material into waters of the U.S., including wetlands, needed to construct or maintain flood control facilities funded by or constructed in accordance with the CCRFCD program within Clark County, Nevada.

    The City of Saratoga Springs has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 2.93 acres of waters of the United States to construct a public trail. The approximately 40.84-acre project site is located along the northwest shore of Utah Lake between 400 South and 2200 South, Latitude 40.3356°, Longitude -111.901°, Saratoga Springs, Utah County, Utah, and can be seen on the Saratoga Springs USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

    Recology Hay Road (Applicant) has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 5.05 acres of waters of the United States, in order to expand the current Landfill to meet the solid and organic waste processing demands in the Solano County region. The approximately 640-acre project site is located at 6426 Hay Road, Latitude 38.310168°, Longitude -121.848851°, in the City of Vacaville, Solano County, California, and can be viewed on the Dozier USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

    The Utah Department of Transportation has applied for a permit to discharge fill material within approximately 11.59 acres of waters of the United States to construct the Midvalley Highway. The approximately 603-acre project site is located between Interstate 80 and State Route 138, in Sections 7, 8, 13, 18, 24, 25, and 26, Township 2 South, Range 2 West, Latitude 40.60508°, Longitude -112.29626°, Tooele County, Utah, and can be seen on the Tooele USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

    Federal Highway Administration has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 0.96 acre of waters of the United States to construct the Fremont Pass Recreation Pathway project. The approximately 69-acre project site extends from the Copper Mountain Ski Area Far East Parking Lot and runs south along Ten Mile Creek and State Highway (SH) 91 approximately 3 miles to where SH 91 widens from two to three lanes, Latitude 39.4972472°, Longitude -106.1357°, Summit County, Colorado., and can be seen on the Copper Mountain USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
