Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2003-50418, the Carroll Property Project, Park City, Summit County, Utah - 10/3/2017: Mr. Michael Carroll has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 0.38 acres of waters of the U.S. (fen wetlands) to construct a single-family home with garage and a guesthouse with garage on adjacent residential parcels. The approximately 2.5-acre project site is located adjacent to Kimball Creek within the Synderville Basin, on the western side of 300 West, Latitude 40.7029°, Longitude -111.5157°, in Park City, Summit County, Utah, and can be seen on the Park City West USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2017-00005, Announcement of October 20, 2017, Regulatory Program Workshop - 9/27/2017: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, will hold the next Regulatory Program Workshop on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Sacramento District Headquarters in Room 814. Deadline to register is Friday, October 6, 2017.

SPK-2017-00621, construct the SR 68; I-215 to Center St. project, North Salt Lake, Davis County, UT - 9/19/2017: The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 2.24 acres of waters of the United States to construct the SR 68; I-215 to Center St. project. The approximately 90-acre project site is located within UDOT right-of-way from just south of the I-215 interchange with Redwood Road to just beyond the intersection of Redwood Road and Center Street, Latitude 40.8350°, Longitude -111.9359°, North Salt Lake, Davis County, Utah., and can be seen on the Salt Lake City North USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2009-01483, construct Segment D of Construction Package 1 (CP1D) of the California High-Speed Train (HST), Merced to Fresno project, Madera, Madera County, CA - 9/5/2017: The California High-Speed Rail Authority has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 5.02 acres of waters of the United States to construct Construction Package 1D of the California High-Speed Rail project. The approximately 2.9-mile segment is located along the west side of the BNSF track between Avenue 17 (Latitude 36.995396°, Longitude -120.042950°) and Avenue 19 (Latitude 37.025434°, Longitude -120. 079473°) in Madera, Madera County, California, and can be seen on the Kismet and Madera USGS Topographic Quadrangles.
