Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK 2014-00581, Proposal to Accept Funding from the Southern California Edison Company

    Expiration date: 2/17/2016

    This Public Notice announces the preliminary intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, and Los Angeles District (Corps) to accept funds contributed by the Southern California Edison Company in order to expedite processing of their permit applications.
  • SPK-2002-50464, PGP 10, Minimal Impact Activities in the State Of Utah Issued

    The District Engineer- Sacramento has issued Programmatic General Permit 10 (formerly PGP 40) in the State of Utah for a period of 5 years. The PGP 10 applies to all waters of U.S. that are part of a surface tributary system over which the State Engineer has regulatory authority and has issued a permit under the State Stream Alteration Program. This permit does not apply to activities undertaken on Tribal lands or to waters such as springs, lakes/reservoirs, fens and wetlands to which the Stream Alteration Program does not apply.     Expiration date: 4/22/2016

    Comment Period has been extended until April 22, 2016. (See Public Notice posted March 11, 2016) Sanpete Water Conservancy District (Edwin Sunderland) has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 71.9 acres of wetlands and 26,947 linear feet of stream channel to construct a dam and reservoir. This project is located 9 miles east of Fairview, on State Road 31, on and near Gooseberry Creek, in Sections 24 & 25, T13 S, R 5 E, and Sections 19 & 30, T13 S, R6E, northern Sanpete County, Utah.

    Perry-Arrillaga, Mr. Richard Peery, has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 7.5 acres of waters of the United States to construct a mixed-use development project. The approximately 114-acre project site is located in Section 17, Township 12 North, Range 6 East, east of Nelson Lane and north of Highway 65 bypass, Latitude 38.887160°, Longitude -121.331788°, near Lincoln, Placer County, California., and can be seen on the CA-LINCOLN USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

  • SPK-2006-01050 - Proposed RGP - SVSP, Placer County, CA

    Expiration date: 2/27/2016

    The Corps is proposing to issue the revised proposed Regional General Permit (RGP) for impacts to up to 7.99 acres of waters of the U.S. for the construction of infrastructure associated with the Sierra Vista Specific Plan. This RGP is restricted to the SVSP project area, plus those areas in which an out-of-plan area component of the backbone infrastructure will be constructed. The 1,620-acre SVSP is located in the western portion of the City of Roseville, west of Fiddyment Road, and north of Baseline Road, in Placer County, California.
