Public Notices

A public notice is the primary method the Corps uses to advise interested parties of a proposed activity for which a Department of the Army permit is being sought. The Corps solicits comments and information to evaluate the probable impacts of the proposed activity on the public interest. Public notices are also used to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance, or permit procedures.

Public Notices issued by the Sacramento District are posted on this page and can be found on the Corps’ Regulatory Request System (RRS). Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals who signed up to receive our public notices.  Comments, which are due by the expiration date of the public notice, should be submitted through the RRS. Only comments submitted through the RRS, by email, or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted. Hard copy comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Nevada Tri Partners / Damonte Ranch Commerce Center, LLC has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 3.22 acres of aquatic resources to construct the Downtown Damonte project, a master-planned, mixed-use commercial development. The approximately 73-acre project area is located at South of Damonte Ranch Parkway and east of Nevada Interstate 580, in Section 16, Township 18 N, Range 20 E, Mount Diablo Meridian, Latitude 39.421555°, Longitude -119.74525°, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. The project area includes the following APNs: 140-211-05, 140-211-06, 140-211-07, 140-211-08, 140-010-49.

  • SPK-2018-00307, Public Notice for a Department of the Army Permit, Centerville West Commercial Development, Davis County, UT

    Expiration date: 9/7/2025

    Wright Development Group has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 1.55 acres of waters of the United States to construct a mixed-use development comprised of residential and commercial space. The project also includes after-the-fact authorization for approximately 0.9 acre of previously filled palustrine emergent wetlands. The approximately 8.55-acre project site is located northwest of the intersection of Parrish Lane and 1250 Street in 12 Section, 2 N Township, 1 W Range; at Latitude 40.922469 and Longitude -111.898120; in Centerville, Davis County, UT.
