Active military service members and their families are invited to enjoy free access to day-use facilities throughout the Sacramento District and at any of the more than 2,500 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks across the nation.

Eastman Lake to expand fishing opportunities

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife have agreed to reopen a vast section of Eastman Lake near Madera to fishing on a seasonal basis beginning in August.

Lakeview Trail at Eastman Lake closed to protect bald eagles

The Lakeview Trail at Eastman Lake will be temporarily closed immediately through July 31, 2013, to protect nesting bald eagles.
