Army Corps awards $9.5 million contract for F-22 facility at Hill AFB

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $9.59 million contract June 5 to Creative Times, Inc. of Ogden, Utah, for the construction of an F-22 system support facility at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

“The facility will serve as an administration and operations support building to the adjacent F-22 industrial facilities on base,” said project manager Alfred Hernandez.

Construction of the 36,500 square-foot facility is scheduled to be completed in early 2014.

Creative Times, Inc. is a U.S. Small Business Administration HUBZone-designated small business. The Small Business Administration’s HUBZone program provides federal contracting preferences to small businesses in high-unemployment or low-income areas.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District provides planning, engineering, project management, environmental restoration and construction services to military and civilian customers in parts of eight western states, including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon and Wyoming.
