Corps to fill borehole test sites at Success Dam

Public comment period extended for temporary drought barriers

The public comment period has been extended two weeks for the permit application from California Department of Water Resources regarding their proposal to erect three temporary drought barriers in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. Corps awards $8.9 million for two American River levee improvements near bridges

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded an $8,918,970 contract to Pacchiosi Drill U.S.A. of New York April 14, for two levee improvement projects near bridges that cross the lower American River in Sacramento. Corps approves full water storage capacity at Success Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District approved April 11 raising the operating restriction of the reservoir behind Success Dam to the maximum authorized storage capacity of 82,291 acre-feet, or a storage elevation of 652.5 feet.
