Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) is evaluating a proposal from the Clark County Desert Conservation Program to establish the Clark County In-Lieu Fee Program (ILF Program), which would involve the establishment, re-establishment, rehabilitation, enhancement, and/or preservation of waters of the United States, including wetlands, through funds paid to the Sponsor to satisfy compensatory mitigation requirements for Department of the Army permits within Clark County, Nevada. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.

The approximately 12-acre project site is located along Gap Wash between 1,900 feet and 4,100 feet upstream of the Gap Wash and Santa Clara Confluence, Latitude 37.08188°, Longitude -113.61027°, Washington County, Utah, and can be seen on the St. George USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) is soliciting public comments on the use of the Colorado Mitigation Procedures (COMP) and the Colorado Stream Quantification Tool (CSQT). Any comments received through October 19, 2019 will be considered by the Corps to determine whether to modify, adopt, or terminate the use of the CSQT or COMP.

    The United States Bureau of Reclamation has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 9.65 acres of waters of the United States to increase the height of the dam. The approximately 3,905-acre project site is located along the eastern shore of the San Luis Reservoir and the southern shore of O’Neill Forebay, approximately 4 miles northwest of the town of Santa Nella in Merced County, California, Latitude 37.047735°, Longitude -121.060860°, and can be seen on the San Luis Dam USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
