Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Oak Avenue Holdings, LLC., has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 4.10 acres of waters of the U.S. for the construction of a mixed-use development. The approximately 640-acre project site is located north of White Rock Road, and east of Prairie City Road, Latitude 38.62426° North, Longitude 121.14064° West, in the City of Folsom, Sacramento County, California., and can be seen on the CA-BUFFALO CREEK USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

  • SPN-2013-00122N & SPK-2013-00091, RGP Proposal -Maintenance of Public/Special District Facilities Under the Solano Habitat Conservation Plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento and San Francisco Districts, are developing a Department of the Army Regional General Permit (RGP) for the Solano County Water Agency (SCWA) to conduct routine maintenance activities of existing public and special district facilities, as authorized under the Solano Habitat Conservation Plan, within Solano and Yolo Counties, California. The San Francisco District (SPN) is the lead District for developing the RGP.     The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) has issued Regional General Permit (RGP) 14 which authorizes minor discharges associated with the Placer Vineyards Specific Plan, Infrastructure Project, in Placer County, California
  • Reissuance of Nationwide Permits

    On January 6, 2017, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published the notice in the Federal Register announcing the reissuance of all 50 existing nationwide permits (NWPs), general conditions, and definitions with some modifications. The Corps also issued two new NWPs, one new general condition, and five new definitions. The 2017 NWPs will go into effect on March 19, 2017, and will expire on March 18, 2022. With the publication of this Federal Register notice, Corps districts will begin finalizing their regional conditions for the new and reissued NWPs. Regional conditions will provide additional protection for the aquatic environment, and will help ensure that the NWPs authorize only those activities with no more than minimal adverse environmental effects. Regional conditions will help ensure protection of high value waters within the Sacramento District.
