Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Expiration date: 11/27/2016

    CRV Enterprises proposes to build Unit 3 of the Gold Creek Estates Subdivision. This approximately 42.0-acre project site is located in Valley Springs, in Secs 24, & 25, T4N, R10E, MDB&M, Latitude 38.1764737566032°, Longitude -120.830113800464°, Calaveras County, California, and can be seen on the CA-Valley Springs USGS Topographic Quadrangle. The applicant proposes to fill 1.97 acres of waters of the United States with the construction of this project. These waters include wetlands and two tributaries to Cosgrove Creek.

  • SPK-2011-00384, RGP 12, Aquatic Habitat Improvement for Stream Channels in Colorado

    In accordance with Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1344) and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. 403), the District Engineer, U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, Omaha, and Sacramento Districts, have reissued regional general permit (RGP) 12 to authorize certain limited discharges of dredged and fill material within waters of the U.S. associated with aquatic habitat improvement activities in Colorado. RGP 12 is applicable to all waters of the United States within the State of Colorado.
