Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK-2005-00938 - DEIS

    Expiration date: 7/15/2013

    The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the 397-acre Westbrook subdivision project is available for review and comment. This project proposes to fill 9.61 acres of waters of the U.S. A notice of availability will be posted in the Federal Register on May 31, 2013. The DEIS may be viewed at the Sacramento District website at This notice was change to reflect the new meeting times. The Corps will hold a public meeting for this project on June 25, 2013, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the City of Roseville’s Civic Center Meeting Rooms, 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, California 95678.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps), is evaluating a permit application for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to armor 1,500 linear feet of bank on the Yampa River within Dinosaur National Monument. The project area is located on the south bank (river left) of the Yampa River, immediately north of Deerlodge Road at milepost 9.5, located at 40.4383° north, -108.4733° west, Sixth Principal Meridian, Sections 25 and 26, Township 6 North, Range 99 West, within Dinosaur National Monument, Moffat County, Colorado.
