Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The City of Roseville Public Works Department has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 2.09 acres of waters of the United States, including wetlands, to construct the Blue Oaks Boulevard extension and West Park Drive.     On February 28, 2013, a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was published in the Federal Register (Vol. 78, No. 40, 13643), which can be found at: https://federalregister.gov/a/2013-04722 This notice is to inform interested parties of the opening of the scoping period and to solicit comments on the proposed Delta Wetlands project. Comments received will be used in the preparation of the SEIS. A public scoping meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Tsakopoulos Galleria Library located at 828 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
