Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Sacramento District, announces the availability of the Updated National Wetland Plant List (NWPL). The NWPL plays a critical role in wetland determinations under the Clean Water Act and Food Security Act. The 2012 NWPL should be used in any wetland delineations performed after June 1, 2012. The 2012 NWPL may be used in delineations /determinations conducted prior to that date and, for the purpose of clarity and accurate interpretation, should be referenced in delineation reports or regional supplement determination forms. This project is located along Unionhouse Creek in Sections 15, 16 and 17, Township 7 N, Range 5 E, Mount Diablo Meridian, in the City of Sacramento, Sacramento County, California.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps) has issued Regional General Permit 1 (RGP 1) for activities that would cause no more than minimal adverse impacts to the aquatic environment within the Plan Area of the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservation Plan/Natural Community Conservation Plan.
