Public Notices

A public notice is the primary method the Corps uses to advise interested parties of a proposed activity for which a Department of the Army permit is being sought. The Corps solicits comments and information to evaluate the probable impacts of the proposed activity on the public interest. Public notices are also used to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance, or permit procedures.

Public Notices issued by the Sacramento District are posted on this page and can be found on the Corps’ Regulatory Request System (RRS). Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals who signed up to receive our public notices.  Comments, which are due by the expiration date of the public notice, should be submitted through the RRS. Only comments submitted through the RRS, by email, or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted. Hard copy comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

Regulatory Program Workshop – 15 July 2022

Subject: Endangered Species Act Consultation, Section 408/404 Integration, and Indirect Effects

   1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where: Webinar through MS Teams details to be provided

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, will hold a virtual Regulatory Program Workshop on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Subject: Endangered Species Act Consultation, Section 408/404 Integration, and Indirect Effects

There is no charge for the workshop, but space is limited to 75 people, with no more than two people attending per organization. Register for the workshop by emailing SPKRegulatoryMailbox@usace.army.mil with the subject line reading “Regulatory Program Workshop” and your name, organization name, email and telephone number in the body of the message. Your email should be received by July 8, 2022. Unfortunately, due to space and security issues, those who did not register will be turned away.

If you sign up for the workshop and later find you are unable to attend, please notify us by sending an email to SPKRegulatoryMailbox@usace.army.mil as soon as possible so that another may attend.
