Sacramento, Calif. -- Island Park Campground at Pine Flat Lake will be closed May 6-17 while electrical infrastructure upgrades are accomplished. The closure may be extended, but the campground is expected to reopen before Memorial Day weekend.
The closure may require that some camping reservations be cancelled for the safety of visitors. Questions about current reservations should be directed to the Pine Flat Lake Project Office at (559) 787-2589.
Boat launch access at Island Park Recreation Area will not be impacted.
