Traffic light removal near Folsom Dam spillway project to begin Dec. 5
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District and its contractor Kiewit Infrastructure will remove a traffic light on Folsom Lake Crossing, located midway between the main and auxiliary dams near the Folsom Dam auxiliary spillway project.

Corps to conduct blasting operations near Folsom Dam
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District and its contractor Kiewit Infrastructure will conduct blasting operations as part of the Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway construction project beginning July 5, forcing short-term closures of Folsom Lake Crossing Road and the American River Bike Trail near the site.

UPDATE: Folsom spillway blasting to periodically close roadway weekdays 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Through the end of the year, Folsom Lake Crossing will be closed for up to one hour weekdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for blasting work to excavate portions of the new Folsom Dam auxiliary spillway approach channel.

Work hours extended for Folsom Lake Crossing lane closure
The partial closure of one westbound lane of Folsom Lake Crossing in Folsom, Calif., will increase by two hours starting April 22, 2013, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily during weekdays.
