Army Corps awards $56.3 million for barracks complex at Presidio of Monterey

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $56.3 million design-build contract June 30 to Sundt Construction, Inc. of Tempe, Arizona for a barracks complex at the Presidio of Monterey. The complex will be used primarily to house service members attending the POM's defense language institute in sustainable, modern living spaces comparable to living standards in the private sector. The complex also includes a dining facility and a general administration building.

Army Corps awards $1.4 million for drought-resistant landscaping at Presidio of Monterey

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $1.4 million contract Aug. 20 to Jacob Construction & Design Inc. of San Luis Obispo to replace approximately 2.8 acres of turf at the Presidio of Monterey with drought-resistant landscaping. Army Corps awards $18.5 million for work at Presidio of Monterey

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded an $18.5 million contract Sept. 30 to Halbert Construction Company Inc. of El Cajon for construction of a new dining facility and supporting facilities at the Presidio of Monterey.
