The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host a career fair Oct. 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grand Ballroom in downtown Sacramento.

SACRAMENTO, California - With more than 200 job vacancies, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host a job fair in downtown Sacramento October 28 to share and discuss career opportunities and help prospective applicants navigate the application process.

The event will be held October 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grand Ballroom, located at 1209 J Street in downtown Sacramento. Corps representatives will be on hand to discuss positions, job requirements and answer any questions about working for the Corps. 

In addition to Corps representatives, prospective applicants can meet with representatives from a handful of other local employers including the Wounded Warrior Project, HDR Engineering, California Highway Patrol and Sacramento Police Department.

Permanent, limited-term and student positions are among the expected job opportunities at the district’s Sacramento headquarters and its field offices throughout the western United States.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District provides flood risk reduction, navigation, watershed planning, ecosystem, and recreation services in parts of eight western states, including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon and Wyoming.
