Water flows over the fuse gates of Terminus Dam at Lake Kaweah in Tulare County, California, March 17, 2023, following a series of atmospheric rivers filled the reservoir to its capacity at 185,630 acre-feet. The resulting spillway flow lasted about 36 hours and reached approximately 1,000 cubic feet per second at its peak.
