The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, will hold a Utah Regulatory Program Workshop on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the Auditorium at the South Branch-Davis County Library located in Bountiful, Utah at 725 South Main Street. The Auditorium is located on the lower level and is accessible by elevator or stairs. Limited parking spaces are available in the library parking lot. However, the library is located adjacent to the Bountiful City Offices complex and a large open parking area is accessible from the street about 20 feet south of the library entrance.
The March 31st workshop is planned for archaeologists, architectural historians, and others who prepare/review Section 106 information for submission to the Corps but is open to all interested parties, including Tribal representatives, the regulated public, organizations, and federal, state, and local agencies. We anticipate representatives from the Utah State Historic Preservation Office will attend. Originally established as the “Regulatory Information Forum” in 2006, Regulatory Program Workshops are held periodically to provide the public information about Corps permit requirements and updates on program execution in the Sacramento District.
There is no charge for the workshop but space is limited to 90 people. To register for the workshop, please email Ms. Kathleen Anderson at email@example.com with subject line reading “Utah Regulatory Program Workshop.” Be sure to include your name, organization name, email address and telephone number in the body of the message. Your email should arrive by March 30th. Unfortunately, due to limited space, those who do not pre-register may be turned away.
