  • Corps awards $21.6M contract for Fort Hunter Liggett microgrid

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $21.6 million construction contract April 12 to Ameresco of Framingham, Massachusetts to construct an electrical distribution microgird and 5 megawatt photovoltaic power generation at Fort Hunter Liggett. Ameresco is expected to break ground this spring and complete the project in 2021.

  • $4.1 million contract to improve Hunter Liggett solar energy efficiency

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $4.1 million contract Dec. 27 to Tri-Technic Inc. of Sonora, for installation of a one megawatt grid energy storage unit at Fort Hunter Liggett, located in Monterey County.

  • Army Corps awards $49 million contract for renewable energy projects

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $49 contract July 13 to six small businesses for renewable energy projects on military installations in the western United States.
