USACE waives recreation area day use fees June 16 and 19

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive day use fees at more than 2,850 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in observance of the USACE birthday, June 16, and Juneteenth National Independence Day, June 19.The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swimming beaches. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services,

USACE provides update on debris removal progress, addresses operational questions and residents’ concerns

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is 30 percent complete with debris removal operations in Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma counties following the October 2017 Wildfires. 564,163 tons of debris have been removed from properties in the four counties.

USACE establishes Debris Removal Information Line following Northern California wildfires

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District (USACE) has established a Debris Removal Information Line for property owners affected by last month’s devastating wildfires in Northern California. The number for the USACE Debris Removal Information Line is 877-875-7681 and will be staffed from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. every day.

New Hogan Lake announces changes to day-use fees

Public information meetings for Isabella Lake Dam Safety Modification Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host three public information meetings Nov. 13-15 to discuss the refinements to the preferred alternative for the Isabella Lake Dam Safety Modification Project, as stated in the final environmental impact statement (EIS). These refinements are designed to reduce, to the maximum extent practicable, potential environmental impacts associated with implementing the selected alternative.
