Army Corps releases inspection rating for Walnut Creek levee systems

Inspections by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District have shown a need for Contra Costa County to address important maintenance issues of the levee system along sections of Walnut Creek near Concord and Pacheco.

Corps to temporarily reduce water level at Lake Clementine for dam inspection

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will conduct a dam safety inspection of the downstream side of the North Fork Dam near Auburn Oct. 31 - Nov. 5, and will temporarily reduce water levels at Lake Clementine to safely perform the inspection.
