    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District is preparing to request a deviation from the operating restriction at the Isabella Dam in Lake Isabella, California, to implement a plan to fill the lake up to its pre-construction volume of 568,000 acre-feet, or gross pool, when sufficient precipitation and snowpack occur.

  • State Park trails near Folsom Lake to close for improvements

    On Thursday, November 4, 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will begin improvements to the Pioneer Express Trail from the south side of the Beals Point entrance road south to the American River Bike Trail. Once improvements are complete, the district will make similar improvements to the nearby Beals Point to Granite Bay multi-use trail from the north side of the Beals Point entrance road to Granite Bay.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a services contract August 7 to Adanta Inc., of Napa, California to restore a self-sustaining tidal marsh at the site of the future VA clinic on Alameda Point, California.
