Boats and captains needed for 7th Annual Warrior’s Day on the Lake event

     Success Lake, Calif. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Central Valley Veterans are seeking boats and their captains to provide Veterans with a free day of fishing!

      The 7th Annual Warrior’s Day on the Lake will take place Saturday, April 21 at Success Lake, near Porterville. The event provides a FREE day of fishing and fun for our military Veterans and Wounded Warriors.

      Due to a large response from Veterans wishing to participate in the event, more boats and captains are needed to take our wounded warriors fishing for the day. If you are available to donate your boat and time as a driver, please call Park Ranger Nicole Arbelo at 559-784-0215 or by email to nicole.arbelo@usace.army.mil
