New Hogan Lake announces campground fee increase

Published Feb. 27, 2017

Beginning March 1, 2017, camping fees at Coyote Point Group Campground and Deer Flat Boat-In Campground at New Hogan Lake will increase. Both campgrounds are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

The USACE Sacramento District conducted a review of its fee structure in 2016 and determined that fee changes are needed to ensure USACE fees remain comparable and fair to those charged by other local providers for similar facilities and services.

Beginning March 1, the following camping fees will be as follows:

  • Coyote Point Group Campground:  $130 per night

  • Deer Flat Boat-In Campground: $20 per night

  • On-Board Camping:  $20 per night

Other New Hogan Lake campground fees and day-use fees will remain the same and are as follows:

  • Acorn Campground: $20 per night

  • Oak Knoll Campground: $20 per night

  • Day-use fee: $5 per private non-commercial vehicle

Coyote Point Group Campground and Deer Flat Boat-In Campground open for the season April 1, 2017.  Oak Knoll Campground opens for the season May 1, 2017.
