Nancy Haley, left, chief of the Northern California regulatory branch for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, and Kelly Briggs, California Department of Water Resources environmental program manager, worked on numerous projects in common for their respective agencies over the past few years. From that shared experience, the pair developed a series of workshops where personnel from the Corps and state water agencies communicated details about their interwoven processes in order to help all Californians.
