Felled tree on Sacramento River levee
An historic photo of a toppled Sycamore tree on a Sacramento River levee near Clarksburg, Calif., shown in October 1962. An accompanying description reads: "Here the heavy fallen Sycamore is shown in relation to the levee it pulled out of and the river it fell into. Trunk is about the same size as the tree that still remains precariously upright."
