The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers appropriations for fiscal year 2015 added $5.2 million for Sacramento District flood risk reduction-related construction and investigations in the Central Valley. This funding is in addition to the $141 million received in February this year.

Veterans Career Fair will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency, 1209 L Street, Sacramento CA 95814.
Open to all U.S. Veterans
Hiring representatives will be on hand from numerous private companies as well as state and federal government agencies including: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, California Department of Rehabilitation, California Employment Development Department, California Department of Veterans Affairs, Work for Warriors and Wounded Warrior Project.
There are already over 200 positions waiting to be filled.
Bring your DD214 (proof of prior military service) along with copies of your resume.
Dress is business casual.
