Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

  • SPK-2015-00513, Placer Parkway Phase 1 Improvement Project, Placer County, CA

    Expiration date: 7/22/2016

    Placer County Community Resource Agency has applied for a permit to discharge fill material into approximately 2.63 acres of waters of the United States to construct the Placer Parkway Phase 1 Improvement Project. The approximately 96-acre project site is located between Sunset Boulevard and Twelve Bridges Drive, in Section 24, Township 13 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, Latitude 38.96227°, Longitude -121.35987°, City of Rocklin, Placer County, California, and can be seen on the CA-ROSEVILLE USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

  • COE-2015-0017 (CO) NATIONWIDE PERMIT REISSUANCE, REQUEST FOR COMMENTS

    Expiration date: 8/1/2016

    On June 1, 2016, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published in the Federal Register its proposal to reissue the 50 existing nationwide permits (NWPs) and issue two new NWPs. Information on submitting comments for the proposed NWPs can be found in the public notice at the website listed above. In addition, the Albuquerque District is also seeking comments on the proposed RCs for the state of Colorado, including those portions of Colorado within the Sacramento and Omaha District boundaries, and the need for any additional RCs to help ensure that impacts authorized by the proposed NWPs are no more than minimal. The Albuquerque District Public Notice may be found on their website at: http://www.spa.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory-Program-and-Permits/Public-Notices/ Similar public notices proposing regional conditions in other regions or States are being published concurrently by other division or district offices.

    Cache County School District has applied for a permit to place fill material in approximately 1.2 acres of wetland to extend 3100 North and construct a parking lot associated with a new Cache County High School. The approximately 60-acre project site is located southeast of the future intersection of 200 East and 3100 North, Latitude 41.78576°, Longitude -111.82837°, North Logan, Cache County, Utah, and can be seen on the UT-SMITHFIELD USGS Topographic Quadrangle.
