Lower San Joaquin River project

The team viewed the installation of a bentonite slurry cut-off wall, a key feature designed to strengthen the levee and help reduce flood risk The Tenmile Slough, Reach 30 Left Bank (TS30L) portion of the Lower San Joaquin River project includes strengthening approximately 5,900 feet of levee through a fix-in-place design that features a cut-off wall, levee geometry improvements, and waterside erosion protection. Construction is expected to be completed November 2026, helping reduce flood risk for surrounding communities.
