Weapons of mass production: Corps to defend bee habitat
Cory Koger, a senior chemist with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, discusses what it takes to become a backyard beekeeper during a lunchtime “brown bag” event on April 20 in Sacramento. The Corps now takes into consideration endangered species of bees when working on cleanup and restoration projects in order to avoid harming the bees or their habitat.
